The venue hire is $1663 for a full day booking and is payable to the Douglas Shire Council.

What Amenities are Onsite?

The venue has male, female and an accessible bathrooms, power, and a storage room.

Maximum Capacity?

180 x seated & 300 x cocktail.

Curfew?

Music off and lights out by 11:00 pm.

Wet Weather Backup?

Inside, or alternatively a marquee.

What does Heritage Listed mean?

The Sugar Wharf, Port Douglas was placed on the Queensland Heritage Register in 1992. The building is significant for its historical association with the development of Port Douglas as a shipping terminal and is important in demonstrating the evolution or pattern of Queensland's history.

Naked Flame?

Due to its heritage listing, the Douglas Shire Council does not permit NAKED flame on the Sugar Wharf. Meaning any candles, fireworks and smoking is prohibited.
